Uh, no, it's not your turn in the rotation yet, but I've got to give "mad props" (enthusiastic recognition) to all of you who, time after time, put your self on the line, step up to a microphone in front of both strangers and friends (which one is the bigger risk?) and belt out a tune. Those of us that have done this and continue to do this have found out about the payoff: it's about the most fun you can have with your clothes on. There's definitely something about hearing your own voice accompanied by the same music that backed the original artist and making it your own. You finish your song, the crowd applauds and you can't wait to get back up to the mike again.
